Glen Eden farm has four glamping options. Three of these have a hand-crafted Romani-style wagon and a tepee tent that sleep two people in each. The sites each have a private pod with a bathroom including a shower and a small kitchen with a stoep with dining furniture. Each of these sites also has a fire pit with tree stump chairs, a braai, and a private hot tub perfect for relaxing under the stars.

The final glamping site is a new luxury bedroom in nature concept. This site has two contemporary micro-bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed. If glamping is your style you will be happy to know that Badensfontein has recently added two luxury permanent tents. These have their own kitchen, braai facilities, private bathroom with a shower, and even hot water. These permanent tents truly provide a luxurious camping experience that is still secluded enough to enjoy nature.

There are also standard camping sites at Badensfontein suitable for campers and tents. These sites all have electricity and WIFI to keep you connected. There is a shared ablution facility that has the luxury of warm water that every camper dreams of. Braai facilities are located in two thatched roof lapas, and there is a swimming pool.

There are many activities to keep you busy at Badensfontein campsite. There are hiking and mountain biking trails for you to explore the area, and see its natural beauty. The last of the Montagu camping sites on our list is the Montagu Guano Cave resort. This resort located about 9km outside of town offers the widest variety of activities while still accommodating all styles of camping. With all the natural splendour of the area still readily available for your enjoyment.

For those looking to go glamping, they have tented family units able to house either 4 or 6 depending on which you choose. Each of these units is fully furnished and has its own kitchenette, braai, and bathroom. They also have air conditioning and heaters so you don’t have to worry about the weather making you uncomfortable. Bedding is provided but guests must bring their own towels and braai grid for the braai in a separate lapa.

Montagu Guano Cave resort also has 60 campsites that are suitable for caravans and tents. All of these sites are located under trees that provide lovely shade.
