The Korean Market in Cape Town is dedicated to the most popular foods / products from Korea. Think about those little yogurt drinks and Korean smoothies so beloved in the movie ‘To Al the Boys’ … these drinks are available at the Korean Market.

There are shelves of noodles, savoury snacks and sweets and a really diverse array of products to choose from. There is also a section where you can sit down and order hot Korean food. They even have a small section of BTS merchandise seeing as BTS is so popular at the moment.

Physically the grocer is easy to find in Observatory. It’s next to the McDonald’s and not far from the N2 offramp.

Super friendly staff. Great variety of items. The new takeaway section is fantastic. All the food so far is amazing… Can’t wait to go back for the dumplings.

Update! The continue to impress and the dumplings are so delicious.

Found so many goodies I miss from Korea! Helpful and friendly staff too. Thank you for the great experience.

Edit: visited for some takeaways and can highly recommend! Tuna mayo kimbap was a substantial portion and delicious and the sweet and spicy chicken was exactly what its name says. Such a lovely lady working there too. Will continue supporting.
